The Montessori Curriculum covers everything children would cover in a state primary school and more. The biggest difference lies in the way the our children learn. Rather than a rigid structure where all children have to learn exactly the same thing at the same time, the classroom environment and individual learning plans allows each child to follow their own learning path with the guidance of their teacher.
Literacy is covered in this area along with foreign languages. Children learn through a wide variety of materials like the sandpaper letters, movable alphabets and the pink / blue and green series.
